"We have been working with Kathy Baker, an agent with Kennebunk Beach Realty, for over five years. She has been in charge of renting and maintaining our home during the summer months, as well as for the off-season. She has done an excellent job of finding quality renters, and quality repair people when needed to for the upkeep of the home. Kathy does her due diligence when screening potential renters. We take great pride in our home and want the people renting to enjoy the home as we do, but respect it as well. She is professional and meticulous with her paperwork. She is courteous to the renters, and always contacts us (as we requested), keeping us up to date on any maintenance issues and on the status of the rented time periods. During the summer months, it is especially difficult to get (for example) a plumber, electrician, or an appliance repair person to handle an emergency. She has a good relationship with many of the best maintenance people as well as many of the businesses in the area; they come quickly when she calls. The home always stays in tip-top shape, and it keeps the good renters coming back. If she encounters a question or a problem with the home, she lets us know immediately. If we ask for her advice, she willingly shares her thoughts with us, but respects our actions. She has very good communication skills with her renting clients as well as her leasing clients. Her people skills bring everyone together creating a positive environment. Many of her renters are returning customers. She has done an excellent job the entire time and has proven herself to be an excellent communicator between us (the landlord) and our tenants. Kathy Baker was extremely helpful with advice on everything including rental pricing and items we needed to remember to include in the house as amenities, all the way to recommendations for plumbers and electricians in the area we could count on for reliable help during a recent renovation. Our rentals go very smoothly with no effort on our part. They make the entire process smooth and easy. Recently we had an outdoor shower pipe burst. Kathy was called by a neighbor who saw the water and was at the house immediately. She assessed the situation, called us to let us know what was going on and got the plumber there so quickly I didn't have to go up to the house that day. When I got there the next day the pipe was already repaired. It was very good to know our property was such a high priority for Kathy.
