With over twenty years of sales, marketing and hospitality experience, Kathy Baker is now the owner of Kennebunk Beach Rentals as of november 2023, but has been the driving force behind the business for over 20+ years. Kathy grew up in Maine and throughout her 35 years as a Kennebunk resident, Kathy has served on multiple boards, received a number of awards and donated thousands of hours to charitable organizations. Owning Kennebunk Beach Rentals gave Kathy the perfect opportunity to meld her excellent customer service skills with her passion for the Kennebunks that brought her to this position at Kennebunk Beach Rentals. With over twenty years of sales, marketing and hospitality experience, Kathy Baker is the Sole Owner at Kennebunk Beach Rentals. Kathy grew up in Maine and throughout her 35 years as a Kennebunk resident, Kathy has served on a multiple of boards, received a number of awards and donated thousands of hours to charitable organizations. Some of her achievements include: Unum Provident's Score Leadership Award, Unum Provident's Account Services Star Award, President's Award at YCCC - Outstanding Employee, 1st Recipient of the Volunteer of the Year Award for the Kennebunk Kennebunkport Chamber of Commerce, and she was the 1st Women President in the 87 year history of the Kennebunk Beach Improvement Association (KBIA). Kathy has long been known for her commitment to public service and her involvement includes some of the following organizations: fundraising events for the Maine Children's Cancer Board, Co-Founder of Secret Santa which serves Kennebunk/Kennebunkport and Arundel communities, Kennebunk Beach Improvement Association (KBIA) past President and Chairman of the Board, Kennebunk/Kennebunkport Chamber of Commerce, vice president of the Kennebunk/ Kennebunkport Alumni Association, York County Community College serves as a Board of Director, various committees for the Kennebunk Parks & Recreation Department, parent/volunteer for DARE, fundraising events for Senior Center at Lower Village, Kennebunk Animal Welfare Society, RSU #21 formerly MSAD #71, and a member parish council at St. Martha's Church. It was the opportunity to meld her excellent customer service skills with her passion for the Kennebunks that brought her to this position at Kennebunk Beach Realty.
